The Barracudas first away trip of the season saw them up against opponents that they had not previously met in Sporting 77 Kestrels who are based in Braintree.

After an excellent start to the season the previous Sunday, the Barracudas came up against formidable opponents in Galleywood Youth Eagles, who had been playing in the highest division last season. Based on their performance in this match, it is unlikely to be long before they return where they came from!
With a brand new kit sponsored by local business Savill Brickwork Design & Build and several new signings making their competitive debuts, the Barracudas had a lunchtime kick off for their first ever league match at 7 a side on the bigger pitch, having played 5 a side for the previous two seasons.
