DUFC Vikings VS Valley Greens

10/9/2017

Vikings first game was an enjoyable event. 9 new players experiencing mini soccer and coming away with enthusiasm to continue their early football journey with United.

First half was a tight affair with goals for both sides, Cullen and Maksim slotting home calmly. Jessica and Henry keeping the middle game going alongside the tackling of Bastien and Jayden. Joshua starting goal made some fine goal stopping saves and William was constantly creating chances. Angus was a constant dynamo both tackling and creating.

2nd half Henry went between the posts, again doing some fine stops before Valley Greens experience from last year showed. William scored as he promised he would at half time and was unlucky he didn't get a second as their goalie pulled off a wonder save.
