Hello DUFC Fans and Families! And we’re back, as of the 15th of August, we’re able to once again grace the fields of our beloved Laundry Lane for all our training sessions and home games.
Our anticipation is sky-high as we announce the return of our Goalkeeper training sessions from the 19th of August. We can’t wait to see our goalkeepers back in action!
Exciting news as we grow... we now have a Managers Advisor!
Shout out to Rob Ramsden, who has kindly agreed to take on this role, he will be helping new managers get settled into the club and football management. He will be available to help new and existing managers with match reports, using the FA online resources, answering any questions our managers have regarding match arrangements, expectations, and much more.
As we grow the club we would love to hear from anyone interested in volunteering in any capacity to be a part of our journey. Please get in touch if you think you have any skills or time to help the club grow and evolve.
We want to express our profound gratitude to everyone who contributed to getting Laundry Lane ready for the new season. Our heartfelt thanks go to Phil, who went the extra mile to clear the clubhouse, and to Rob, Dave, and Sue for their invaluable assistance. Your unwavering commitment and hard work have laid the foundations for this season.
Following the clubhouse’s demolition, we have some exciting enhancements to Laundry Lane to share with you in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for these updates!
As if that’s not enough, we have some top-notch new equipment en route that will undoubtedly up the ante for our training sessions and matches. Stay tuned for more updates on this front.
This season, we extend a warm welcome to our new managers and teams. We encourage everyone to extend their support to them as much as possible. Remember, we are one big UNITED family.
So, let’s gear up for an action-packed season. Here’s to great sportsmanship, teamwork, an abundance of goals, and a whole lot of fun!
We’ll see you all on the pitch!
