Dunmow United Piranhas really impressed over their opponents Valley Green Hotspurs in the League encounter this week.
In the 1st minute, the Valley Green Hotspurs’ striker managed to find a pocket of space to get a shot off but it whistled wide of the goal.
A shot from Charlie T in the 2nd minute was tipped away by the Valley Green Hotspurs goalkeeper.
Harry H tried an ambitious effort in the 2nd minute but the shot was dragged wide.
A moment of panic in the 3rd minute for the Piranhas as Valley Green managed to turn and fire a shot on target, save acrobatically by Charlie W.
Five minutes in, an acrobatic save was required from the Valley Green Hotspurs goalkeeper, after a Charlie T shot was heading in.
Zach L fizzed in a ferocious effort in the 5th minute but the shot was dragged just wide.
After some nice work by Dunmow United Piranhas, a gap opened up inside the box and Cameron M took the opportunity with aplomb to place the ball past the scrambling keeper. Goal time: 10th minute.
Goal for Valley Green Hotspurs in the 17th minute. There were moans and groans from the Dunmow United Piranhas crowd, but in all honesty, there was not much the keeper could do there. A great strike following a nice passage of play.
Twenty three minutes in, an acrobatic save was required from the Valley Green Hotspurs goalkeeper, after a Cameron M shot was heading in.
Louis F saw his effort fly just off target in injury time.
The half time whistle went and the Piranhas felt aggrieved to have conceded. Charlie W in the goal was outstanding and the defensive players - Leo M, Tom A and Sam M had been imperious. For the second half, Charlie W came out onto pitch and was replaced in the sticks by Louis F.
A shot from Cameron M in the 25th minute was tipped away by the Valley Green Hotspurs goalkeeper.
Goal for Dunmow United Piranhas. In the 27th minute Cameron M picked up the ball after a great pass from Harry H and hit a crisp strike straight into the back of the net.
An instinctive strike inside the box from Zach L in the 32nd minute resulted in a great goal for Dunmow United Piranhas. Assist by Harry H with a terrific pass.

Leo M tried an ambitious effort in the 34th minute but the shot was dragged wide.
Harry H picked up the ball from Charlie T and curled a sweet strike past the Valley Green Hotspurs goalkeeper. The keeper had no chance. Goal time: 43rd minute for Dunmow United Piranhas.
